The purpose of this project is to build a twin turbo Camaro as an ME 93 special topics mechanical engineering design course at Tufts University. I am designing a twin turbo package that will go onto the Chevrolet TPI small block in an 82-92 Camaro. My goal is to have at least 450 hp out of a stock 305 CID engine and have the Camaro still be a reliable car.  The project has several distinct stages, with general ideas and calculations at first, then physically packaging everything in the stock engine bay, and finally tuning the completed package.

You can assist the Tufts Twin Turbo (TTT) project by donating required parts. In exchange for your support, you will will:

· Get positive exposure in a feature article on the TTT Camaro in High Tech Performance Magazine - photoshoot in April
· Have (companies) logo displayed and linked to your homepage on the award winning TTT website - featured in the March issue of High Tech Performance and receives 750 hits per month
· Have logos on the Camaro during racing - at least 10 autoxes and road racing time trials
· Be connected to cutting edge research at Tufts University
· Possible long term relationship with the future plans of marketing and manufacturing the TTT package

I am working on this project with my advisor, Professor William Crochetiere, Job Spetter of Turbo People in NY, and Mike Zoner of Callaway Cars. Many other knowledgeable and experienced people from the Camaro/Firebird and Do It Yourself Electronic Fuel Injection internet mailing lists have assisted with details as well.

The Tufts Twin Turbo project has our homepage located at http://www.eecs.tufts.edu/~askulte/ttt/ttt.html. The homepage documents the complete project, letting visitors to the site see everything that is involved in completing the TTT project. We receive approximately 750 hits a month, many of who are interested of doing a similar project. The website is featured in the March 98 issue of High Tech Performance in the Cyber Cruisin' column and received a glowing review, along with a screen shot of the website.

I have included in this information package a copy of the High Tech Performance article, the projected schedule, and a letter of intent from the Mechanical Engineering Department chairperson.

By sponsoring the Tufts Twin Turbo Project, your company will receive positive publicity, along with the chance to participate with other sponsors in a cutting edge project.

We appreciate any sponsorship, such as donated parts and fabrication, used items, diagnostic shop time, and product discounts. If you have other sponsorship ideas, or want to discuss sponsorship details, please contact:
